Representatives from the People's Republic of China expressed contentment over the expanding trade and economic ties between the two nations, emphasizing the significance of boosting the involvement of leading companies based in Shanghai. Both sides deliberated on strategies to attract companies operating in diverse sectors such as electronics, biotechnology, green energy, and the food industry to participate in investment projects.
The meeting also encompassed detailed discussions on collaborative events and scheduled visits for the upcoming year. It is noteworthy that Uzbekistan is a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), an international regional association with primary objectives including ensuring regional security and stability, combating extremism and terrorism, fostering scientific and cultural exchanges, promoting energy partnerships, and encouraging economic cooperation. The parties revisited their stance on involving companies in areas like electronics, biotechnology, "green" energy, and the food industry.
Additionally, they reviewed the plans for joint events and visits slated for the forthcoming year.
