In a bid to strengthen diplomatic ties and explore avenues for enhanced cooperation, Tajikistan and the Swiss Confederation held the next round of inter-ministerial political consultations on December 8, in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported.
The discussions were marked by a comprehensive exchange of perspectives on the existing state of collaboration between the two nations and the shared vision for future endeavors. The consultations delved into various dimensions, including political and economic issues, legal frameworks, and developmental initiatives between Tajikistan and Switzerland.
One of the focal points of the dialogue was the exploration of potential development partnership projects and programs, reflecting the commitment of both countries to fostering mutually beneficial ties. The representatives from Tajikistan and Switzerland deliberated on avenues to expand economic cooperation, enhance inter-parliamentary relations, and actively participate in regional projects and programs.
Aside from the political consultations, Tajikistan and Switzerland have established robust cooperation through the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation.
