Uzbekistan boosts tourism industry in collaboration with Germany’s "Numa Group"

Uzbekistan has embarked on a transformative journey to amplify its global tourism standing through a strategic collaboration with the German company "Numa Group”. This partnership aims to promote Uzbekistan's tourism potential, particularly in the Central European region, encompassing Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the government of Uzbekistan reported.

"Numa Group," founded in 2016, is a prominent German company specializing in tour operations, marketing, and public relations. The company has carved a niche for itself with a primary focus on cultural and special tours in the Balkans, Turkey, and Central Asia. As a member of the German Travel Association (DRV), "Numa Group" plays a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of tour operators and travel agencies within the German tourism industry.

The overarching goal of this collaborative project is to heighten awareness and interest in Uzbekistan as a tourist destination in the "DACH" region. Comprising three Central European nations – Germany, Austria, and Switzerland – the region will be introduced to the diverse tourist offerings and cultural treasures of Uzbekistan through targeted marketing initiatives.

The "DACH" region, known for its affluent and discerning travelers, presents a significant opportunity for Uzbekistan to position itself as an attractive and unique destination. The collaboration with "Numa Group" will facilitate the dissemination of information about Uzbekistan's historical landmarks, natural wonders, and vibrant cultural experiences to potential tourists in these countries.

Furthermore, this partnership underscores the broader objective of fostering cooperation between Uzbekistan and Central European countries in the realm of tourism. The initiative aims to develop new and enticing tourist destinations, fostering cross-cultural exchanges and paving the way for agreements between tourism companies. By expanding cooperation networks between nations, Uzbekistan is poised to strengthen economic relations and promote sustainable growth in the tourism sector.
