The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the successful evacuation of two of its citizens from the Gaza Strip. This comes amidst the escalating tension in Palestine, a situation that has prompted international concern and necessitated swift action.
The operation was a testament to international cooperation, involving the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation in Cairo. The evacuation was executed smoothly and efficiently through Egypt on November 24, ensuring the safety of the Kyrgyz nationals.
The Kyrgyz Republic has publicly expressed its gratitude towards the Russian Federation for their invaluable assistance in this operation. The Russian Federation’s contribution was instrumental in ensuring the safe evacuation of Kyrgyz citizens from the volatile Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has further stated that efforts are ongoing to evacuate any remaining Kyrgyz nationals who wish to leave the region. The exact number of individuals still in the region is yet to be disclosed, but the Ministry assures that every effort is being made to ensure their safety.
Earlier reports have indicated that in addition to a hundred Russians, three Kyrgyz citizens were evacuated from the Gaza Strip. This information was provided by Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya.
