The Chinese company Hichain has unveiled plans to establish three new logistics centers in Uzbekistan, as per the report from the Ministry of Transport's press service.
The initiative was discussed during discussions at the recent Uzbek-Chinese business forum held in Guangzhou, where Mamanbiy Omarov, the first deputy head of the Ministry of Transport, engaged in talks with the president of Hichain Supply Chain.
Hichain's proposed logistics centers are set to be strategically located in Andijan, Navoi, and Karakalpakstan, bolstering the nation's infrastructure and enhancing logistical capabilities.
The collaboration between Uzbekistan and Hichain reached a milestone as both parties signed a memorandum aimed at expediting cooperation and facilitating the swift implementation of projects within the transport sector.
Hichain mainly provides comprehensive logistics solutions integrating transportation, warehousing, customs and other value-added services for global technology manufacturing enterprises.
This development comes in the light of earlier reports, which indicated that the French company Semmaris is poised to construct agrological complexes in Uzbekistan.
