A total of 18 airports will be affected, with four located in Khatlon, four in districts of republican subordination, five in Sogd, and five in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.
The Ministry of Defense will be responsible for restoring and maintaining the readiness of these airports.
According to media reports, only four international airports are currently operational in the country, namely Dushanbe, Khuzhand, Bokhtar, and Kulob.
