New discoveries shed light on tragic death of 11-year-old in Ferghana, igniting calls for justice

New discoveries shed light on tragic death of 11-year-old in Ferghana, igniting calls for justice

The tragic discovery of the lifeless body of an 11-year-old girl in Ferghana city on July 20 sent shockwaves through the community. The girl's body was found near an unfinished building on Yangi Asr street, with initial reports indicating signs of sexual assault and murder . As investigations into the heinous crime continue, new details about the circumstances leading to the girl's death have come to light.

Information provided by the girl's grief-stricken relatives indicates that the events unfolded on July 19 when a familiar 11th-grade student from the 16th general secondary school in Ferghana visited the girl's house. The young man, born in 2006, reportedly told the girl's family that her mother was calling her and convinced the innocent child to accompany him outside. Tragically, the 11-year-old victim was the only daughter of her parents, making her loss even more devastating.

"He said, Mom, is calling,' and assured us that he would send her right back. I agreed and allowed my daughter to go with him, thinking they were just friends. However, they never returned, and after an hour, we started searching for them near the unfinished building. I asked him about my daughter's whereabouts, but he denied any knowledge of her absence," recounted the grieving father of the deceased girl.

The girl's mother also shared her account of the distressing incident, revealing that the young man involved was the son of her friend. The boy had been known to visit their home previously, and she trusted him.

"I had a friend, and her children would often visit our home. They would take things with them, so I didn't suspect anything unusual when he tricked my daughter into following him," the grieving mother said.

As the community tries to grapple with this horrific crime, the spokesperson of the Mahalla, where the young man resides, spoke about his character and background. As per the spokesperson, the 11th-grade student had no prior history of complaints or any record of misconduct. His behavior had not raised any red flags before, leaving everyone stunned by this sudden and appalling act.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter, and local residents are demanding justice for the innocent young girl. The incident has sparked conversations about child safety and the need for stricter measures to protect vulnerable members of society.

The police have assured the public that they are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to bring the perpetrator to justice. As the community mourns the loss of a young life full of promise and potential, they are also coming together to support the grieving family in their time of unimaginable sorrow.

In the wake of this tragedy, there is a collective call for greater vigilance, and parents are urged to be cautious about their children's interactions with strangers or acquaintances. Authorities are working to raise awareness about child safety and ensure that no child becomes a victim of such a heinous crime again.
