Astana is set to terminate the agreement with the capital of Kyrgyzstan on the presence of local security forces in Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan officially notified the Kyrgyz Republic of its intention not to participate in the agreement concluded between the two countries on April 8, 1997, the Daryo correspondent in Kazakhstan reports with reference to KazTAG.
The document in question included the order of stay and interaction of representatives of law enforcement and special bodies on the territory of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The government has reportedly already signed a corresponding decree which has been submitted for consideration by the head of state.
