The football player of the youth team of Uzbekistan Shakhriyor Jabborov was found to have doping in the blood, the Committee on Discipline and Ethics of the AFC reports.
The test was carried out after the quarterfinals of the U-20 Asian Cup, in which the Uzbekistan team beat Australia.
The result showed the presence of a prohibited drug in the body. Jabborov was temporarily suspended from participation in all football matches until a final decision is made.
For reference, the youth team of Uzbekistan won the Asian Cup, defeating Iraq with a score of 1:0 on March 18. The match was held in Tashkent, and Jabborov was reportedly on the bench during the game.
