The "Russia" airline's plane was denied entry into Iraq's airspace, according to Kommersant's report.
The incident took place on April 6 when flight FV5569 of a Boeing-737 on the Yekaterinburg-Sharm al-Sheikh route, was in mid-air.
Despite having all the necessary permits to fly, the plane was not allowed to enter Iraq's airspace without any explanation, as stated by the airline's press service.
The plane then flew several times in Iranian airspace before heading to an alternate airfield in Sochi. After getting permission to fly to Egypt on the night of April 6, the plane landed in Egypt with a delay of 4 hours.
