Uzbekistan banks made a total of 10,7 trillion soums in profit in January 2023.
According to the regulator, expenses from interest expenditures totaled 3,9 trillion soums, and the interest-free expenses - 758 trillion soums. Operational expenses accounted for 1,1 trillion soums.
Net profit for the January period was 1 trillion soums, a 258 billion increase compared to a similar period in 2022.
