President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Thursday (February 16) expressed condolences to the President of Tajikistan over casualties and serious damages caused by avalanches in southeast Tajikistan.
During phone talks, the two leaders discussed topical aspects of bilateral and regional agenda, as well as measures aimed at implementing agreements at the highest level, primarily in trade, industrial cooperation, agriculture, energy, and the transport sector.
The Presidents also emphasized the importance of establishing effective cooperation in the field of preventing emergency situations.
The schedule of events was also considered, including contacts within the framework of multilateral organizations.
