Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in international summits held in Kazakhstan on October 13-14. The head of state will make a speech at the "dialogue forum" in Astana.
One of them is the summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), which is known as a "dialogue forum" among the countries of the region. Its main goal is to expand cooperation in ensuring peace, security and stability in Asia, to fight against the illegal production and circulation of drugs, and to expand trade and economic cooperation.
To date, 51 heads of delegations have confirmed their participation in the summit. 12 of them are heads of state.
Apart from Afghanistan, the leaders of Uzbekistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Iraq, Iran, Qatar, and Palestine will participate in the summit.
CICA members are Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Egypt, Israel, India, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Cambodia, China, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, UAE, Pakistan, Palestine, Russia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Sri Lanka.
Countries with observer status in the Council: Belarus, Indonesia, Malaysia, USA, Ukraine, Philippines, Japan, Laos and Turkmenistan.
