The Senate and the State Committee for Family and Women of Uzbekistan have jointly organized the national competition "Gender Equality Activist" in order to formulate a policy aimed at ensuring gender equality in every organization, introducing gender approaches to the activities of organizations, and attracting public attention to the issues of achieving gender equality.

The main nominations in ensuring gender equality are: 
• The most active district (city) state body (organization);
• The most active territorial state body (organization);
• The most active state body (organization) at the republic level;
• The most active district (city) administration;
• The most active regional administration;
• The most active NGO;
• The most active business entity.

Additional nominations of the competition:
• The best TV program aimed at promoting gender equality;
• The best website or online portal aimed at promoting gender equality;
• The best publication aimed at promoting gender equality.
The application for the competition and the set of necessary documents will be accepted from September 7 to November 15 via the e-mail address gendertenglikfaoli2022@mail.ru.
