President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is participating in the extraordinary 34th session of the Joqarǵí Keńes (Supreme Council) of Karakalpakstan.
The state leader underscored that despite the efforts and huge funds allocated to Karakalpakstan, the problems still remain.
"There are still some unscrupulous and corrupt officials who don’t understand the bright idea of nation’s full satisfaction," said the president.
Based on the events of 2 months ago, it was shown that drinking water, internal roads, electricity supply, and unemployment problems still persist.
"Unfortunately, some leaders, instead of serving our people honestly, are allowing the situation of inefficiently spending the funds aimed at ensuring their well-being, not using the opportunities created, and not working with their lives for the country," the president said.
