On August 22, the chairman of the Senate of the Oliy, Tanzila Norboeva, met with the delegation of the US Congress led by Congressman Trent Kelly, co-chairman of the Caucus on Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of Uzbek-American cooperation, including the issues of expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation.
The efforts of the Uzbekistan-US inter-parliamentary group and the Congressional Uzbekistan caucus in the US Congress are warmly recognized in the development of relations between the parliaments of the two countries.
