The Uzbek diaspora in the city of Perm, Russia, has formed a battalion named after Amir Temur, which is designed to support Russia in the war with Ukraine. Jahangir Jalolov, diaspora leader spoke about this at the congress of "Central Asian Uzbeks in Perm".
In his speech, he emphasized the need to support Russia's special military operation to demilitarize and denationalize Ukraine.
Our children attend kindergartens and study at schools and universities. We live and work in Russia. We must respond by creating a battalion of volunteers and name it after the great name Amir Temur. And I call to support Russia's special military operation to demilitarize and de-Nazify Ukraine.
I am proud to be an Uzbek, to be a citizen of Russia, and to have Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin as my president. I will serve Russia! he said.
