Uzbek doctors and nurses have been invited to apply for employment opportunities in Italy's Sardinia region under a recruitment program announced by the Migration Agency.
The program seeks to recruit 100 medical professionals annually for positions in emergency medicine and nursing.
Vacancies are available for doctors specializing in emergency medicine who hold a master's degree, doctoral degree, or relevant professional certification in the field, as well as nurses with a bachelor's degree.
Applicants must be under the age of 50, with priority given to candidates younger than 40. A higher medical education diploma is required, while previous work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Selected candidates will first complete a seven-month online Italian language course organized in cooperation with the University of Perugia. The training will be conducted remotely, allowing participants to study at a convenient time and location. The Migration Agency will cover the cost of the language course, valued at €600 per month.
Candidates who successfully complete the training will be eligible to begin employment in Sardinia with a starting salary of up to €3,500 per month. Monthly earnings may increase to between €4,000 and €5,000 through overtime work and night shift bonuses.
The positions provide a standard working schedule of 38 hours per week. Employers will cover accommodation costs, provide lunch, and arrange medical insurance for employees.
