Namangan has received 30 modern buses from China’s Zhongtong Bus Holding as part of efforts to enhance the city's public transport system, the Ministry of Transport reports.

The latest delivery follows a similar initiative last year when Express Dolina supplied 36 buses now operating on three main routes. This time, Turon-95 MBI has facilitated the arrival of the new vehicles, which will soon be deployed on city streets.
The upgrade comes as Uzbekistan continues to modernize its urban transportation network.
Earlier, Zhongtong Bus Holding from China was reported to supply 183 modern buses to Uzbekistan’s cities of Almalyk and Termez. Under the agreement, Olmaliq Trans Service is expected to receive 83 buses, while the Tashkent Transportation Authority (Termiztransportkhizmat) will acquire 100 vehicles.
On February 12, Minister Makhkamov met with Yutong Bus Vice President Xu Peng to discuss the ongoing fleet renewal and plans to acquire 1,000 more buses for Tashkent.
Uzbekistan continues to enhance its public transport system. In July 2024, Makhkamov revealed plans to purchase 1,000 buses for regional centers and 200 BYD electric buses for the capital.
