Kazakhstan and Jordan have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to strengthen their partnership in digital development. The agreement paves the way for collaboration in information and communication technologies, artificial intelligence, e-government, smart cities, and startup ecosystem development.

The signing took place during a working visit by Kazakhstan’s Minister of Digital Development, Zhaslan Madiyev, to Jordan, where he participated in the General Assembly of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO). The event brought together key global partners to discuss digital transformation and innovation-driven economic growth.
During the visit, Minister Madiyev held high-level meetings with Jordan’s Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Issa Eid Summirat, as well as digital ministers from Pakistan, Oman, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait. The discussions focused on advancing cooperation in digitalization, supporting IT startups, and integrating advanced technologies to boost economic growth.

Minister Madiyev also met with Jordan’s Prime Minister to discuss the broader prospects of digital partnership and strengthening economic ties. Both Kazakhstan and Jordan reaffirmed their commitment to fostering innovation, promoting knowledge exchange, and implementing digital solutions that contribute to sustainable economic development.
Kazakhstan remains dedicated to expanding international cooperation in digital development, fostering technological progress, and driving innovation. The agreements reached during this visit mark an important step toward a more interconnected and digitally advanced future for both nations.
