The Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the German company SEIT-for-tomorrow GmbH & Co. KG, has launched a recruitment drive for 160 Uzbek truck drivers to work in Germany, the agency’s press service confirmed.

Successful applicants will undergo a 4-6 month professional retraining program in Germany. Upon passing the final exam, they will sign a three-year employment contract with a six-month probation period.
To qualify, candidates must be between 20 and 42 years old and hold a Category CE driving license. Additionally, they need B1-level German proficiency or a diploma from the Department of German Philology.
The offered salary is €3,000 per month (net €2,200 after taxes). Drivers will work a five-day week, with a maximum of 45 hours.
Selected participants will receive free air tickets, airport transfer to their workplace, residence registration in Germany, and health insurance worth €80.
Despite 160 available positions, fewer than 30 applicants have applied so far. Interested candidates can submit their applications.
In January, the agency announced that Vatanparvar would train truck drivers for employment in Germany. It also has plans to train train drivers for future overseas opportunities.
