Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, recently met with Tuan Chan, the founder of the Vietnamese company ROX Group, to discuss investment opportunities in Uzbekistan. ROX Group expressed keen interest in implementing projects in residential construction and the development of recreational tourism in Uzbekistan’s regions, leveraging the company’s extensive experience and innovative solutions.
Established in 1996, ROX Group operates across real estate, technology, hospitality, and financial services sectors. The company, which reported $2.4bn in revenue in 2023, employs over 2,000 staff and is expanding its presence internationally, including in European markets.
During the discussions, Tuan Chan praised Uzbekistan for fostering favorable conditions for entrepreneurs and highlighted the efficiency of its system for developing ready-to-implement, viable projects in priority sectors. He emphasized that the openness and accessibility of Uzbekistan’s market made it an attractive destination for foreign investors.
Minister Kudratov assured the Vietnamese delegation of the Ministry’s full support at every stage of the project lifecycle. He expressed confidence that collaboration with ROX Group would significantly contribute to the development of Uzbekistan’s construction and tourism industries.
As a result of the meeting, both parties agreed on concrete steps for joint cooperation. A dedicated investment manager has been appointed to provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the implementation of the projects.
