The Central Bank of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the National Agency for Prospective Projects and the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights, is set to host a Plas-forum on digital transformation and cooperation in Tashkent on June 12-13, 2024.
The forum will serve as a platform for discussions on various aspects of digital transformation and cooperation, featuring key speakers from diverse sectors including banking and finance, regulatory bodies, IT, and retail trade.
Among the topics to be covered during the sessions are the further development and digitization of banking business, the role of Islamic finance and banking in Central Asian countries, insights into the crypto industry, the current state of e-commerce, and discussions on venture opportunities.
The forum aims to provide valuable insights, foster dialogue, and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to drive digital transformation and enhance cooperation in Uzbekistan and beyond.
Earlier Daryo reported that the third Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF) in Uzbekistan has wrapped up successfully, with agreements totaling $26.6 bn. With participation from 2,500 delegates representing 93 countries, the forum affirmed its position as a leading global forum for facilitating discussions and sharing expertise in investment.
