Originating from Finland, Wolt garnered further attention when it was acquired by the American industry leader DoorDash in 2022. DoorDash, renowned as the largest food delivery service in the USA, with a dominant 56% market share and a fleet of 1 million couriers, absorbed Wolt as part of its strategic expansion.
Market Penetration
While Wolt has established its footprint primarily in Western and Eastern Europe, it made its foray into the Central Asian market in 2019 by entering Kazakhstan. Now, with its sights set on Uzbekistan, Wolt is poised to introduce its acclaimed delivery services to the Uzbek populace.
