The international conference "The main directions and potential of tourism development in Turkmenistan" will be held in Ashgabat on 27-28 March 2024, the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan" reports.
The forum will be an important event in the implementation of the programme for the development of international cooperation of Turkmenistan in the field of tourism for 2024-2025. "The development of international tourism is one of the key aspects of Turkmenistan's integration into the global economic and cultural space".
The delegates will get acquainted with Turkmenistan's unique historical and cultural monuments, museums and tourism potential in general. The participants will also take part in the celebrations of the announcement of the city of Anau as the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World in 2024.
