For the first time, Uzbekistan's youth actively participated in the annual forum organized by the UN Youth Initiative during the 67th session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND), Dunyo reports. The event, held from March 12 to 14, convened 35 young representatives from 27 countries worldwide to address critical issues concerning drug addiction prevention and youth health promotion.

The youth forum served as a platform for robust discussions and knowledge sharing among young leaders from diverse cultural backgrounds. Participants engaged in fruitful exchanges, exploring innovative strategies and initiatives to combat drug abuse and promote youth well-being.
Ghada Waly, Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, extended a warm welcome to the young delegates, urging them to seize the opportunity for learning and collaboration offered by the forum. Jean-Luc Lemarque, Director of the Policy Analysis and Public Relations Department, underscored the significance of youth involvement in shaping global policies and initiatives.
