President Sadyr Japarov of the Kyrgyz Republic officially accepted credentials from Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary representing several foreign nations accredited in Kyrgyzstan on December 5, the president’s press service reported.
The ceremony saw the presentation of credentials by distinguished diplomats, including Ali Jabir Mohammad Al-Ghufran Al-Marri from the State of Qatar, Nury Golliev of Turkmenistan (with residence in Bishkek), Brian McElduff from the Republic of Ireland (with residence in Moscow), Robert Kirnag from the Slovak Republic (with residence in Astana), Maria Agnes M. Cervantes from the Republic of the Philippines (with residence in Islamabad), Pavol Shepelak from the Czech Republic (with residence in Astana), Egidijus Navikas from the Lithuanian Republic (with residence in Astana), George Panamthundil, Apostolic Nuncio from the Vatican (with residence in Astana), and Nicolaas Jacob Schermers from the Kingdom of the Netherlands (with residence in Astana).
The Ambassadors were greeted by a distinguished Guard of Honor, emphasizing the importance and formality of the occasion.
President Japarov extended his congratulations to the ambassadors on the commencement of their diplomatic missions in Kyrgyzstan, expressing his best wishes for their success in fostering stronger bilateral ties.
