    Uzbekistan's president and 'Air Products' chairman discuss high-tech cooperation in Dubai

    The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, engaged in discussions with Seifi Ghasemi, the Chairman of the Board of "Air Products," to explore current and prospective projects of collaboration between Uzbekistan and the global industrial gases giant, president's press service reported. The meeting took place in Dubai, emphasizing the importance of fostering ties between the two entities.

    The primary focus of the meeting was on the practical aspects of expanding cooperation, particularly in high-tech industries. "Air Products" is a renowned global provider of essential industrial gases, related equipment, and applications expertise, serving diverse sectors including refining, chemical, metals, electronics, manufacturing, and food and beverage. Additionally, the company is a leader in supplying liquefied natural gas process technology and equipment on a global scale.

    During the meeting, the President and the Chairman discussed the progress of ongoing projects and evaluated the readiness for new initiatives that could propel Uzbekistan's technological landscape forward. The cooperation between Uzbekistan and "Air Products" has the potential to significantly contribute to the nation's development in key sectors such as energy and manufacturing.

    "Air Products" has a rich history, having been founded in 1940, and is recognized for its innovative culture, operational excellence, and dedication to safety and environmental sustainability. The company's global footprint includes involvement in some of the world's largest industrial gas projects, with a specific focus on gasification projects that convert natural resources into syngas for the production of power, fuels, and chemicals in an environmentally sustainable manner.

    The meeting highlighted the commitment of both parties to building a mutually beneficial partnership that aligns with Uzbekistan's vision for technological advancement and economic growth. The president expressed optimism about the potential of collaboration with "Air Products" to bring cutting-edge technologies to Uzbekistan, fostering innovation and sustainability.
