The 2nd International Congress and Exhibition "Pharma Uzbekistan and Central Asia" brought together industry leaders, government officials, and key stakeholders to discuss pivotal investment projects and advancements in the pharmaceutical sector. Hosted in Tashkent, Uzbekistan the event served as a crucial platform for fostering collaboration and innovation in the region's rapidly growing pharmaceutical industry.
Organized with the support of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency under the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, the Congress showcased the robust developments and opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector, not only in Uzbekistan but also in neighboring countries such as Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
The event featured over 350 participants, including delegations led by top managers and technical directors from prominent companies such as Asia Immunopreparate, BIOCAD, Dentafill Plus, Jurabek Laboratories, Novugen Pharma, Temur Med Pharm, UZGERMED PHARM, Dora, Gedeon Richter Uzbekistan, MERRYMED pharm, Nika pharm, Nobel laureate PHARMSANOAT, Radix, Means, Samarkand England Eco Medical, Pharmaceutical policy Rompharm Company N. S., Solyphar Laboratories, Pharmaceutical ALPHAONE, Deutsche Service Kusum Uzbekistan, Highland Farm, and many others.
During the two-day Congress, participants engaged in more than 20 hours of business and informal communication through working sessions, exhibitions, lunches, coffee breaks, and cocktail receptions. This unique gathering provided a platform for leaders of the largest pharmaceutical companies and industry experts to discuss pressing issues and future prospects in the pharmaceutical sector.
The agenda included discussions on major investment projects for the construction and modernization of production facilities, as well as strategies for enhancing the efficiency of existing pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises. Over 50 major projects were presented, offering insights into the future of pharmaceutical development in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
The topics covered government initiatives, modernization and construction plans, production capacities, promising optimization of pharmaceutical production processes using cutting-edge technologies and equipment, and discussions on challenges and innovative solutions.
