Uzbekistan is forging a digital partnership with Saudi company DataVolt. Ambassador Ulugbek Maksudov convened a meeting with DataVolt representative Raid Abunayon, aiming to establish bilateral cooperation in the realm of information technology. Acknowledging Uzbekistan's extensive reforms and favourable conditions for foreign investors, DataVolt expressed a keen awareness of the transformative landscape in the country.
The discussions also highlighted the strategic investments of Acwa Power, a major Saudi company, emphasizing its role in serving the interests of both nations. DataVolt's commitment to innovation was underscored by their expressed readiness to collaborate on creating state-of-the-art data centres, in tandem with relevant Uzbekistani authorities.
DataVolt's diverse portfolio encompasses sustainable digital infrastructure, renewable energy, integration of advanced technologies, water management, and innovative design. Looking ahead, both parties mutually agreed to facilitate a visit by DataVolt representatives to Uzbekistan in early 2024. This visit aims to solidify bilateral cooperation, foster an exchange of experiences, and lay the groundwork for an enduring investment partnership between Uzbekistan and DataVolt.
