The World Food Programme reports that approximately 15.3mn people in Afghanistan are currently facing severe food insecurity, highlighting the urgent need to address food shortages.
While an estimated 28mn people in Afghanistan require emergency assistance, budget constraints have compelled aid organizations to reduce their support to needy families, exacerbating the hardships faced by Afghan communities.
