French President Emmanuel Macron is scheduled to visit Uzbekistan on November 2, following his visit to Kazakhstan, as reported by AFP, citing the Elysee Palace.
The French administration emphasized its readiness to support both Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in their pursuit of reform and modernization, contributing to the diversification of their international relations. The primary objective of fostering closer relations between France and Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan centers on economic collaboration. This includes areas such as the energy sector, the supply of crucial materials, transportation, healthcare, agriculture, and defense.
Emmanuel Macron recently returned to France from a trip to the Middle East, during which he visited Israel, held meetings with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and conducted talks with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah. On the concluding day of the journey, Macron met with Jordan's King Abdullah II in Amman and later held discussions with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Cairo.
Earlier, the press service of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had announced the French leader's visit to Kazakhstan on November 1.
