US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, in an Australian news program "60 Minutes," stated that global issues should not be seen as one being more important than the other; all problems deserve attention.
The program's journalists asked Blinken to discuss which problem is more dangerous for all of humanity: the potential nuclear war between major countries or global climate change.
"I don't think you can talk about a hierarchy," emphasized the US Secretary of State. Blinken explained that climate change is a more serious problem for the world's population.
At the same time, Blinken added that there are several other acute problems for the international community at present. He underscored the need for Western countries to be "more vigilant" in this regard.
