The EU Deputy Political Representative in Afghanistan, Raffaella Iodice, has announced that the European Union has successfully delivered nearly 100 tons of humanitarian aid, including medical supplies and medicines to Afghanistan through the "humanitarian air bridge of the European Union."

This significant contribution reflects the EU's continued commitment to providing support for the people of Afghanistan.

Since 2021, the European Union Office for the Protection of Civilians and Humanitarian Aid has facilitated 28 cargo flights to Afghanistan through the European Union Humanitarian Air Bridge.
