The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, recently attended the Victory Parade in Moscow as part of his working visit to the city.
The solemn event commemorated the 78th anniversary of Victory in World War II and saw Presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Armenia. After the parade, President Mirziyoyev joined the other leaders in laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden, honoring the memory of fallen soldiers, including the sons of Uzbekistan.
The presidential visit concluded with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev being seen off at the airport by Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov and other officials before departing for Tashkent.
