The Kyrgyz Republic may introduce a visa-free regime with three Arab countries: the UAE, Bahrain, and Lebanon. The agreement on this was ratified by the Kyrgyz authorities, the press service of the MFA of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
Bishkek will not reportedly require visas from diplomats, as well as holders of official and special passports. The authorities of the three Arab states did the same.
Last year, the flow of tourists from the UAE to Kyrgyzstan increased by 30% compared to previous years and tourists visit Kyrgyzstan all year round.
Travel companies from the Kyrgyz Republic are expanding the range of services by providing travelers from non-CIS countries: direct flights, tours around the country, family vacations, as well as meals in accordance with Halal standards and certification.
During an official visit to Abu Dhabi on March 3, 2022, former FM of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev proposed to the authorities of the UAE to introduce a visa-free regime for Kyrgyz citizens.
The parties signed a protocol on holding political consultations and developing interaction between the foreign ministries of both countries, including in the field of tourism.
