In Uzbekistan, drones will be introduced to identify traffic cases outside the main settlement sites based on the draft decision of the Cabinet of Ministers "On measures to create a unified automated information system in the State Traffic Safety Service".
According to the draft, the officials will submit a proposal to the Cabinet on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles and their maintenance which should help to rapidly identify violations or incidents on roads outside of residential areas.
A new unified automated system created by the Traffic Safety Service of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will integrate into a single platform the information of all executive bodies, the prosecutor's office and judicial organs of Uzbekistan.
The report on the offence is registered through a unique number generated through the "E-administrative work" information system.
The "Administrative practice" module of the Unified Information System will be developed, which will centralize the review of administrative cases related to the violation of traffic rules, including the information generated within the automated system of photo-video fixation.
The discussion of this draft document will continue until April 8, 2023.
