Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kasim-Jomart Tokayev took part in the ceremony of launching large joint investment and industrial projects. This was reported by the press service of the president.
The Uzbek-Kazakh joint ventures include the production of phosphorus mineral fertilizers in the Navoi region, the establishment of a logistics centre in the Tashkent region, the construction of housing and commercial infrastructure in the city of Tashkent, cars in the city of Kostanoi, Kazakhstan, and household appliances in the Karaganda region.
The Turkic nation presidents expressed confidence that the businesses would help to create modern production facilities and, most importantly, thousands of new job places.
