The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced that the total non-performing loans (NPL) in banks fell by almost 801 billion soums stopping at 15.3 trillion soums.
Conversely, the total loan portfolio of banks has reached 382.1 trillion soums. This is 6.8 trillion soums more than last month.
Last month, the share of NPLs in the total loan portfolio decreased by 0.3% to 4%.

Although "Khalq Bank" (The People’s bank) still holds the top position, its NPL plummeted by 219 billion soums (3.1 trillion soums).
The highest indicator of NPL share is in "Uzagroeksporbank" - the bank's share of NPL in total loans is 95.9 percent.
