In January-October 2022 (10 months), Uzbekistan exported 1.4mn tons of fruits and vegetables worth $903.3mn, the State Statistics Committee has reported. According to the agency, the figure increased by 192,000 tons compared to the same period in 2021.
In 10 months of 2022, Uzbekistan has exported:
- fruits and berries – 297,000 tons
- dried fruits and berries – 35,700 tons
- vegetables – 733,000 tons
- onions – 185,400 tons
- cabbage – 135,200 thousand tons
- tomatoes – 65,800 tons
- grapes – 181,000 tons
- raisins – 64,400 tons
- peanuts – 15,600 thousand tons
- watermelon and melon – 134,300 tons
