Hasanboy Dostmatov beat his opponent from Kazakhstan and became the champion of Asia in Amman, Jordan on November 12 by a split decision.
Dostmatov, who defended the title of Uzbekistan in the -51 kg weight category, fought against Saken Bibosinov.
The first round was evenly contested, two of the judges decided in favour of Dostmatov, and three decided in favour of Saken. The second round was written in favour of Dostmatov.
Uzbek lightweight boxer became more active in the third round as well having been declared the winner the champion of the tournament.
