The Summit of the Organization of Turkic States will be held in Samarkand on November 11. In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan announced the beginning of the accreditation of media companies to cover the event.
For that, the media representative should submit the following documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
- A letter of application by the head of the media outlet addressed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the accreditation of correspondent(s).
- Information about a media outlet;
- CV/resume;
- A copy of the passport;
- photo (3x4 aspect ratio, maximum resolution 600x800 pixels, minimum - 240x320 pixels, full-face, on a white background);
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate
- Completed accreditation form.
Applications from representatives of foreign mass media can be submitted by 18:00 Tashkent time on November 4, 2022, through the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan abroad or directly to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan at ots-press@mfa.
At the same time, applications submitted by foreign mass media cannot be a basis for visiting Uzbekistan and engaging in journalistic activities without confirmation of their accreditation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
