"Yamal", Russian airline, landed at Namangan International Airport for the first time. "Daryo" correspondent reports.
The Airbus A-321 carried 221 passengers from Moscow to Namangan.
The aircraft was welcomed with a water salute which will fly once a week to the Russian capital, the international airport administration informs.
For information, Yamal, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, is the largest Russian airline in the South Siberian region headquartering in Salekhard. The company, which has more than 30 aircraft of various models, flies to 42 local and international airports.
