On August 8, Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting on expanding cooperation with Central Asian countries. The head of state proposed to develop the system of a national rating of investment attractiveness of regions, the President's press service reports.
In the last five years, the volume of foreign trade with the neighbouring countries of Central Asia has increased by 2.5 times and exceeded 6 billion dollars. 1,700 joint ventures were opened with the participation of the capital of neighbouring countries.
The friendly and mutually beneficial relations of the country with the countries of Central Asia are developing consistently.
Mirziyoyev stressed the upward trend of friendly and mutually beneficial, projects and proposals related to the expansion of economic cooperation with the countries of Central Asia.
In order to develop small businesses in the country, the system of developing a national rating of investment attractiveness of regions was also discussed.
