Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates have approved veterinary certification requirements enabling the export of hatching eggs, day-old chicks, poultry meat, and rabbits from Uzbekistan to the UAE market, as to the press service of Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade,
The approval followed a structured process of cooperation in food and veterinary safety, during which both sides exchanged information on state veterinary control systems, epizootic stability, biosecurity measures, laboratory capacity, and export certification procedures.
A key stage in the process was a UAE delegation visit to Uzbekistan in November 2025. During the visit, representatives inspected veterinary control systems, poultry and livestock enterprises, production facilities, laboratory operations, and export certification mechanisms.
Following the inspection, the UAE side confirmed that Uzbekistan’s veterinary system meets international requirements and complies with UAE standards.
The approved veterinary certificates establish the regulatory basis for export of selected livestock products from Uzbekistan to the UAE. This framework is intended to regulate market access for poultry and related products and support trade flows between the two countries.
Authorities note that the decision is linked to ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan’s veterinary sector, including the introduction of international standards, strengthened disease monitoring systems, and improved food safety controls.
