Negotiations were held on the current status of bilateral investment initiatives between Uzbekistan and Germany within the framework of the German Investment Navigator platform, a system designed for monitoring and consistent analysis of joint project implementation stages.
The meeting brought together Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan Akram Aliev and Executive Director of the German Eastern Business Association Michael Harms.
The parties conducted a detailed review of approximately 40 major investment projects. Using the platform’s monitoring mechanisms, they assessed current progress and identified emerging challenges, with particular focus placed on adherence to implementation timelines and the acceleration of administrative and operational processes.
The Investment Navigator platform, which supports structured tracking of joint initiatives, was used as a key tool to evaluate project efficiency and coordination between stakeholders.
The discussions also served as an important preparatory step ahead of the upcoming session of the Uzbek-German Business Council. The meeting is expected to further strengthen direct engagement between business communities of the two countries.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding investment cooperation and advancing new joint initiatives aimed at deepening economic ties between Uzbekistan and Germany.
