Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates will gradually restore flights between Tashkent and Dubai starting March 4 after earlier cancellations caused by airspace restrictions linked to escalating tensions in the Middle East.
According to Uzbekistan’s state news agency Dunyo, flights operated by Uzbekistan Airways, Centrum Air and Qanot Sharq will resume in stages. Uzbek citizens currently in the UAE have been advised to closely monitor official airline updates and confirm flight status before traveling to the airport.
The following flights are scheduled to operate on March 4:
Uzbekistan Airways
- HY333 Tashkent—Dubai: 08:30 (scheduled)
- HY334 Dubai—Tashkent: 12:30 (scheduled)
Centrum Air
- C6-351 Tashkent—Dubai: 05:30 (scheduled)
- C6-352 Dubai—Tashkent: 10:25 (scheduled)
Qanot Sharq
- HH901 Tashkent—Dubai (DWC): 05:10 (scheduled)
- HH902 Dubai (DWC)—Tashkent: 10:30 (scheduled)
Authorities urged passengers to verify flight details with airlines in advance and only travel to Dubai International Airport after receiving confirmation, noting that schedules may still change.
Several flights between Tashkent and Dubai scheduled for February 28 had previously been canceled after airspace restrictions were introduced due to conflict in the Middle East. As a result, a number of Uzbek citizens were temporarily accommodated in hotels while awaiting the resumption of flights.
On March 2, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov to ensure the effective organization of repatriation efforts for Uzbek citizens currently in Gulf countries.
Earlier, a Dubai–Tashkent technical flight landed in Uzbekistan without passengers after airspace closures in the UAE disrupted regular operations. At the same time, Uzbekistan’s consulate assisted more than 130 stranded citizens with temporary accommodation while authorities intensified efforts to organize repatriation flights.
