Uzbekistan placed 75th out of 137 countries in the International IQ Test 2026 ranking, recording an average score of 96.51, according to data released by the International IQ Test platform. The result ranked Uzbekistan highest among Central Asian states in the assessment.
The country scored 96.79 points in 2025. The ranking was based on results from around 1.2mn participants worldwide, with the global average score at 100. Uzbekistan’s 2026 score was slightly below its 2025 result and marks a shift from earlier years.
Within the Central Asian region, Kazakhstan ranked 80th with a score of 95.92, Kyrgyzstan placed 93rd with 94.48, and Tajikistan stood at 101st with 93.39 in the 2026 ranking.
At the global level, East Asian countries occupied the top positions. South Korea ranked first with an average score of 106.97, followed by China at 106.48 and Japan at 106.30.
