Uzbekistan produced more than 419,000 passenger vehicles between January and November 2025, according to data from the National Statistics Committee. Considering Uzbekistan had produced 382,905 passenger cars in January–November 2024, this trend shows about a 9.5% year‑on‑year increase in the production.
Total output during the 11-month period reached 419,338 vehicles, reflecting sustained production across both domestic and foreign-branded models. The Chevrolet Cobalt remained the most produced model, with 148,094 units, followed by Damas at 85,384 vehicles. Production volumes were also strong for Tracker (47,804 units) and Onix (29,099).
Among international brands assembled in Uzbekistan, Kia accounted for 24,507 vehicles, while BYD produced 17,510 units. Output of other brands included Haval with 8,891 vehicles, Chery with 8,627, and Tank 500 with 50 units.
In addition, manufacturers produced 49,372 specialized passenger vehicles over the reporting period, highlighting the growing diversification of Uzbekistan’s automotive sector.
On the sales side, motor vehicle sales reached 101,100 units in November 2025, up 6% year-on-year, with passenger car sales showing notable growth in Tashkent (+33.7%) and Karakalpakstan (+8%). By the end of October, cumulative sales had reached 112,500 units, with growth observed across all major market segments.
Vehicle ownership continues to rise steadily, with 4.7mn registered vehicles as of October 1, 2025, of which 92.9% are passenger cars. This represents a year-on-year increase of 415,300 vehicles and underscores the ongoing expansion of Uzbekistan’s automotive market and rising demand for personal transport.
