The management of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan participated in the meeting of governors of central banks at the 11th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
A key highlight of the summit was the signing of the Memorandum on the establishment of the Council of Central Banks of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States. This new body aims to foster stronger financial cooperation and enhance the efficiency of central banking operations among the member countries.
During the summit, bilateral meetings were held with leading central bank officials, including Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan; Timur Suleimenov, Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan; and Fatih Karahan, Chairman of the Central Bank of Turkey. These discussions focused on the current state of financial cooperation between the countries and future collaborative efforts to strengthen economic ties in the region.
Additionally, the 11th OTS summit culminated with the adoption of the Charter of the Turkic World and the signing of seven important resolutions.
Among these were the Declaration of the 11th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, which summarized the key outcomes of the gathering, and a Resolution on the Green Vision of the Turkic World, which focuses on advancing a unified sustainable future for the region.
